Rinzai Zen International

Rinzai Zen International (RZI) is Korinji's worldwide sangha devoted to practice of the Zen Buddhist path. The monastery serves as the organizational and spiritual center, and the source of practice knowledge, for our community.

 

Affiliated RZI meditation groups are active in North America and Europe, and new groups may form wherever sincere practitioners gather for training. We invite you to join us!

OUR LINEAGE

was transmitted to the West by Omori Sogen Roshi and his heirs.

OUR PRACTICE

is Zen-Ken-Sho: classical Zen training, martial discipline, and fine arts undertaken as a unified path of human refinement.
