Online Membership

Korinji members can access online resources supporting their home practice, connecting distant practitioners with our community. These include instructional videos, dharma talks, chanting recordings, online zazen meetups, virtual events, and free meditation instruction for veterans and survivors. See below for a list of these resources and services.

Membership in Rinzai Zen International through Korinji's Patreon provides access to all of these and more, while supporting our monastery and community. Welcome!

Join Korinji's Patreon

Members of Rinzai Zen International, through Korinji’s Patreon, receive access to a growing online library of Rinzai Zen instructional videos, dharma talks, podcasts, chanting recordings, and other practice resources. Members may also participate in Korinji’s private online forum, where Meido Roshi and senior members answer questions and support home practice. Monthly contributions help sustain the monastery and its teaching activity.

Korinji Virtual Retreats & Events

Virtual Retreats & Events

Rinzai Zen International members may participate virtually in selected monastery events, including Zen retreats, sesshin, dharma talks, Q&A sessions with Meido Roshi, and important ceremonies. Virtual participation is not the same as training together in person, but it can support sincere practice and help distant members remain connected to the monastery and sangha.

Online Meditation Meetups

Members are invited to attend online zazen meetups with the Korinji community. These are periods of formal seated meditation, not discussion groups. A moderator begins and ends the meditation periods, and the group may afterward chant a short Zen text, such as the Heart Sutra. Though online practice is not the same as sitting together in the dojo, these meetups can help support consistency in home practice.
