Contribute: Donate Securities
Donating securities (stocks) is a very convenient, powerful and effective way to support the Korinji Foundation. You will be credited for a tax-deductible donation in the amount equalling the stocks' full fair market value at the time the gift is made, as long as the stock has been held for at least one year.
To make a stock gift, please follow these steps:
1. Speak with your tax accountant to confirm the benefits of donating appreciated securities.
2. Contact our Treasurer by email to notify the Foundation of your intent to donate appreciated securities.
3. We will reply with the information needed by your broker to expedite the transfer of shares.
4. Upon receipt of your shares into the Foundation's account, Banc of America Investment Services will liquidate the securities.
5. You will be issued an acknowledgment letter and receipt from the Foundation.
